Joy

This little man is so full of joy...I never tire of his bright blue eyes and open mouthed kisses.  Aunt Kate got a taste of these kisses last night too.   Gavin is looking a little more like his brother everyday and man is he growing.  Last night I pulled some nine month winter clothes out because I wanted to make sure he got to wear them before it gets to warm.  He fills out the 9 month clothes nicely and has me thinking its time to pack up all the 3-6 month clothes!  Maybe if I get time this weekend.  We are off to Walmart for the weekly shopping trip with both boys...hoping everyone can behave themselves!

Playdate With Aunt Kate

Aunt Kate came over tonight to do her laundry and hang with us for awhile.  We had yummy chicken fajitas for supper.  Kate spent the evening playing outside with Logan and playing trains...oh and stealing kisses!  My boys do love their Auntie.  Although Kate did tackle one of Logan's diapers, there was no pooptastrophe tonight.  Kate does agree though that it is time for Logan to start putting his business in the big boy potty! 

Finding Himself

Gavin has found himself!  He now LOVES watching himself in the mirror.  He giggles and laugh like it's the first time he recognizes himself, every single time.  One of the cutest things yet!  He used to smile at US in the mirror.  We are clearly a point of entertainment for the past. 

Rolley Polley

Gavin is our little rolley polley!  He quickly gets from one side of the living room to the other.  I love watching his chubby little self rolling across the carpet.  He's trying to crawl too!  I will try to get a video soon to upload.  My baby should not be growing this fast!

Sunny Weather

We have had some really nice days here lately and today was another.  Lordy how we have missed being outside!  Today was about 62 and NO WIND.  I know, right?  That hardly ever happens in KS.  Logan took advantage.  He played outside with Mommy for awhile then went to Papa's and spent some time playing with Lisa.  I am SO READY FOR SPRING!  Keep those nice days coming.  Thank you God for this beautiful day!

These lovey boys make my day and steal my heart!

They make me laugh when I feel like falling apart.

There's never a problem they think I can't solve,

Around them does my entire world revolve.

Each little laugh, giggle and smile

Make me feel like all my efforts are worthwhile.

First Foods

Just as Gavin seems to be a bit ahead of his time with rolling and crawling he is not being very patient about being stuck with breastmilk.  Rice is thing of the past...he eats 2 or 3 bites then blows raspberries at me.  So tonight we tried pears.  He loved them, hardly any mess on his face because he ate them right up!  I only gave him 1/2 a container but I am sure he would have eaten all of it if I would have let them.  I know they are suppose to wait until 6 months but this little guy just doesn't seem to understand that he is only 4 months old!  Such a big guy...
