Cousin Time

This rowdy crew...we were playing at Aunt Epi's today and everything was going great(by great I mean the children were covered in mud and screaming at the top of their lungs).  Then Gavin tripped over their dog Bella and landed face first on the concrete.  He fractured his tooth and bloodied his chin.  It was quite the drama.  So it's off to the dentist for us in the morning!

Field Trip

I got the opportunity to accompany Logan's class to the zoo today and was given this group of 3 wild boys. It's so funny to see how differently Logan acts when he isn't with his siblings.  Beautiful day!

Safe Sleep

Kate says they are all in time out, but they appear to be sleeping to me.  This is definitely not safe sleep.  I think this girl is gonna have to brush up on her skills if she is going to be the next NICU nurse like her mama!

Patching

Gavin has started to see a new eye Dr.  The peds opthamologist we were using had horrible bedside manner and Gav would not even attempt to do his charts.  We saw Dr. Tran today and she was awesome with him.  I think this might be the first real eye exam he's ever had. That is the good news.

The bad news is that his condition is regressing.  So we are back to patching 24/7.  After years of patching, Gavin is not a fan and I can't say that I blame him.

Baby E & Easter

We had the family over for Easter today.  We got to love on baby Emerson and all the aunts and uncles.  It difficult to lose traditions with my grandparents but fun to make new traditions of our own. We are blessed.
