We had a small family gathering tonight since both my brother and my cousin were both home to visit on leave from the airforce and the marines. It was great to see everyone. Logan is usually pretty cranky by about 6p.m. so I didn't get near as many pics as I wanted but we still had a good time and ate some great food.

Mom is a slacker!

Okay, I know...I've been a blog slacker this week! Weds we went to the zoo with Abby and Payton. We tried out Abby's new double stroller. It was so much easier to get in and out of the buildings and exhibits! But, the kids were both crabby and let's face it...it was 1:00p.m.which at their sitters is nap time. SO they both slept through most of the zoo but at least we got some sun and some exercise.

AJ got home Weds afternoon and we went over to see him right after we got home from the zoo. Bad mommy forgot her camera though.

Even worse, AJ babysat for us this morning since Steve was off work so we could get some things done. I didn't even think to get the camera out! So we still don't have an updated picture with AJ and Logan but that will be soon. AJ was a great babysitter. My house was still standing, Logan had a nap and a poopy diaper even got changed while we were gone. Hooray for Uncle AJ!

Sunshining Beautiful Day

It was so nice today so we spent some time out in the yard this afternoon. After surveying the garden I have discovered that we have virtually no cucumber plants still living, tomatoes and zuccini going crazy and some pepper plants that are barely hanging on. I think we are gonna have to replant some things this weekend.

Tonight Steve and I are going to see Lifehouse and Daughtry. Logan is going to spend some time with Nana and Papa. It's gonna be great!

Peek-A-Boo

Peek-a-boo is Logan's new favorite game. He will hide underneath Tigger, a blanket or even just put a bib across his eyes at the dinner table and then he thinks it is hilarious when he uncovers his eyes. It's too cute!

Today we drove to Great Bend for a birthday party of one of my NICU graduates that a I primaried. It was his one year birthday and I hadn't seen them since the day they left the hospital. It's hard to believe that at this time last year I was still pregnant with Logan. I can't imagine one day without him. I also can't believe that I willingly primaried a patient of Dr. Bloom's while I was 6 months pregnant. We were like oil and water there for a few months...I'm blaming it on the hormones. Anyone who works with me and reads this will understand and appreciate that comment!

We got up at five this morning...kept Logan up until I left town at 10:30a.m. and he slept the whole way there. I was singing heavenly praises when we pulled in the drive way! He was great at the party, quite the little flirt, then he surprised me by sleeping ALL THE WAY HOME. I couldn't believe it. Steve had steaks ready for dinner when we got home. I think he and Christopher enjoyed a day without the baby.

What a fun day. Did I mention that my good friend Abby who is pregnant is expecting a boy? She just announced it this week. She's due in October but has a history of early deliveries so I'm guessing this one will be early Sept. Tonight I packed up all of Logan's 0-6month clothes to lend to her. Somewhat sad but then again so exciting! I have to go back to work tomorrow. The boys will be on their own. Have a great rest of the weekend!

It was a rainy, nasty day today...not to much to say. Spent the morning making cookies with Nana. Logan was being superanimated so we decided to grab a few pics. He's so silly!

Today we were so lazy at our house! Dad didn't get out of his jammies until 1:00p.m.! Logan stayed the night with Nana and Papa last night for the 2nd time ever. Of course he did great for Nana and only got up one time during the night. We went and enjoyed dinner at Red Lobster(Mommy had a craving for snow crab!).

We had planned a fun-filled day of garage sales for today. But, with the rainy weather our plans were stiffled. It didn't stop Papa from driving us all over town just to make sure though! We found a few sales and a few good buys. We now own the game Boggle so we will be ready to kick Uncle AJ's rear when he comes home next week!

Tomorrow we have Sunday dinner then we might make a quick run to Haven to see Nina!

Mother's Day

Well its been a mother of a day here at the Taylor's house on "Mothers Day". Oh yeah its Steve this time....Yes this is my first Blog post. Well I would like to say Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers I know and love. I would go through the list but everyone knows who they are...right! Well anyway, notice how many times I have said "Well" there's a prize at the end so keep count. Today started of at 5:30 this morning with the baby being sat down beside me in bed, and has pretty much stayed by my side the rest of the day until my lovely wife got home from work. He has been running a slighty fever today and been kinda cranky, but oh well so have I and Holli. Logan and I eat Donuts for breakfast this morning found out, he really loves them. Christopher and I played a few games on the computer today, while Logan played on the floor with his toys beside us, when we would die one of us would get down and play with him until the next match. Kinda our routine :) Logan got on the computer today and ordered his mommy a new flash for her computer, he shopped around until he found a great deal,then stole my bank card and ordered it for her, he loves his mommy. Sneaky little guy, got to watch him. The rest of the afternoon was eat, take a bottle, play awhile, eat, take a bottle, and play again. Kinda fussy through it all. Then when mom got home we went over to Nana's to have supper with the family for Mother's Day, pizza and salad. When we came home , well I found that my snaking job the other day didn't take to well. Looks like I will be doing it again tomorrow night. This caused Holli to have to go back accross the street to take a shower at Nana's. Not a Good Mother's Day ending!! Well now you know why I said its been a mother of a Mother's Day....... I love you Honey, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!
