Happy Benton Days

 

We spent the day in Benton today with Tristan, Maddie, Payton and Gray.  It was freakin cold, windy, and rainy.  The kids still managed to have fun.  Highlight of the day was the parade.  I think Gavin ate about 15 tootsie rolls while I was trying to keep him awake and not fussy in the middle of nap time.  We love these sweet friends!  And this Mommy always loves to see other kids acting like giant pains in the rear...makes me feel like we are normal. 

I am really working on not yelling at the kids and getting what I want accomplished without losing it.  This is trying to say the least especially on days like today.  If this darn weather could figure out what it is going to do, maybe my sinuses and these headaches would go away!

We are raising little men in our house...if only they could always stay this sweet and innocent!

Sunkissed

Well it wasn't WARM today but it was WARM ENOUGH!  We are becoming much less picky about the actual temperature and much more appreciative just to get to be touched by the sun.

Boy or Girl?

I am still a bit in shock...hoping this baby doesn't sprout boy parts before the next sono!  You know I have already been rounding up pink.  Logan is really excited to be having a GRRRIIIILLLLL as he says, LOL.  Oh sweet children.

...now you don't!  Gavin's new favorite game is peek-a-boo.  Don't get me wrong, he has liked it forever but we have developed a small obsession for it in the last month.  If we don't play at least 3 times a day, the quota has not been met.  He will find anything to hide behind: bubba's hat, the bath towel, a door, his own fingers.  He is quite animated too!

Spring is in the air!

We are going STIR CRAZY waiting on spring to get here!  Today was nicer, almost 70 and we took full advantage.  The forecast is predicting an ice storm for Wednesday...oh dear.  Will spring ever come this year?
