Uncle AJ is Home!

My brother is home from the Air Force on leave.  He spent some time with Katelyn today while the boys were out running errands.  I miss this guy so much while he is gone.  But he is so busy when he comes home to visit that it doesn't seem that he is here long at all!

9 Month Stats and Maclaskey Playdate

I took Kate to her 9 month check up this a.m.  She weighed in at 16 pounds 1oz(7th percentile). She was 26 inches long(6th percentile). But her big 'ol noggin was 17 1/2 inches(60th percentile).  We have no been on antibiotics for 3 weeks and Kate still has pus in one ear.  We are so ready to kick these ear infections! Abby stayed with all the kiddos so every body didn't have to go.  In addition, we kept baby Finn.  What a fun day!  We have really been missing our friends here lately.  SO glad we got to get some spoil time in.

9 Months

My baby is 9 months old today!  I hate that she is so big already but love that she is growing and thriving.

Snuggleloves

As crazy, impatient and hateful these kids can sometimes be with one another, there are also rare days of extreme patience, love and kindness.  Last night and this morning have been 2 of those days(so far, the day is young).  I love these rare moments of joy and peace when everyone is laughing, no one is fighting over anything and whining.  I remind myself daily that soon they will be too big to want to snuggle with one another and will prefer their friends over their siblings.  But, for today, we are happy just to be with each other!

Kate {9 Month Photoshoot}

I am a few days early with this but I work the next several days and knew I wouldn't get to it!  Don't really know why the VHS tape was so entertaining but it was getting smiles out of her!

  At 9 months you are a chunky bundle of smiles and love! You are crawling everywhere and starting to pull up on things.   You eat anything I give you and are so done with baby food.  Some favorites are: strawberries, cheese, avacados, bananas, puffs, chopped chicken, pizza, any kind of pasta, yogurt, oatmeal, green beans and sweet potatoes.  Your hair is really starting to grow and your baby fuzz is a thing of the past.  You are still taking a bottle or nursing 7-8 times each day and waking up at night for feeds.  You are saying Mama, Dada, Bubba, and bye and have just recently started purposefully clapping and waving bye-bye. Oh how we love you!
