On the Farm

Winter days can be rough if you are stuck inside. Today we made the trek to Papa's and Nana's for some fresh air.  Papa took us on a four wheeler ride and let each of the kids take a turn "driving."  The kids slept all the way home.

It's 7PM. Our day started at 4AM. We are totally in our pjs and taking a walk.  Sometimes you just gotta move a little!

A Week of Firsts

I took all the kids for dental checkups today.  This was Kate's first appointment. While she did request that her bubba sit with her, she did great!

Kate's First Haircut

So Daddy took it upon himself to take Kate for her first haircut today. Her sweet baby hair is gone.  Of course you know that he remembered to save a lock of it for me to put in her baby book and he said she did great through the whole thing.

Sick Kids Suck

I hate it when my babies are sick. Kate has not been feeling well, has been running a fever and is completely miserable.  I snapped this pic while getting a temporary reprieve from cuddling.  I never thought I would need that but my arms are tired. I am so grateful for a loving husband that never tires of helping...at least if he does, he doesn't ever say it!

Together

There are days when these three make me want to pull my hair out. They fight and fuss and whine and squabble. Today was not one of those days.  Dad went to work and I can remember saying a prayer as he walked out the door. 

Then, this happened.  For the whole morning these three lovelies were kind and caring. They played with each other and shared everything.  It was amazing. 

Beanboozled Anyone?

So this happened tonight...Bubba came over with a package of Beanboozled beans. Has everyone seen this?  They are jelly beans, some that are pleasant and some that are...not. Grass clippings, boogers, burned popcorn to name a few.  Logan was all over this(I know, right? The kid that tried nothing new).

We had to send them out in the yard because whenever they got a nasty one they would spit and hack.  Steve and I could not quit laughing.  Who comes up with this stuff?  Thanks Bubba for being a good sport. The kids always love when you stop by.

Sesame Street Live

Nana bought Kate Sesame Street Live tickets for Christmas and today they got to go!  Stella Shae and Epi got to go too.  She came home sugared up and exhausted but full of stories.  Thanks Nana and Papa.

Christmas 2015 {Grandma Jean}

 It is so funny to look back over the years at our pics from the Haven Community Building. This year was another "New" for us.  We didn't have a baby that needed a boob or a bottle or a binky! My kids are finally starting to run wild with the cousins.

During the white elephant gift exchange, I got number 1...which meant I got to steal last.  I ended up stealing a nice silicone kitchen utensil set from my awesome sis in law.  Love you Leslie, I promise to make it up to you!
