Blue-eyed Babe

Not much to say today. Payton and Abby came over and played. Payton is into EVERYTHING! Such a mischievous little thing...reminds me of her mama when she was young. I bagged up all my maternity clothes for Abby. I want another kid but boy is she crazy. I think I can wait awhile.

I need to go back to work. I've been off since Thurs and I'm starting to go a bit stir crazy. Logan is bored to death and ready to go back to day care. I wish it was sunny and nice. This weather is starting to get a little depressing. Last night I felt like all I ever do is laundry, dishes, cook and feed the baby. If we could get out and walk more maybe my mood would lighten as well. Enough about that, I'm praying for no rain today!

Colby has a vet appt. today. I went to get his city license(3 months late) and discovered his rabies shot is expired. Whoops! This is so not like me. I'm always right on top of that kind of stuff. Then the cable guy is coming over to check out our computer connections...pretty bad when that is the excitement for the day!

Little Rubber Ducky

Logan is big enough now to sit in his bathub and actually enjoy toys in the water. He loves little rubber duckies. So enthralled was he tonight with his ducks that I couldn't even get him to glance at the camera!

We're off to play with Payton tomorrow and allow the mommies to have some girl time!

Musician In the Making

Logan loves music. He loves to be sang to sleep. He loves to listen and watch Steve play guitar. I think we might have a little musician in the making!

So the big baby news from the other day is...my best friend Abby(Payton's mommy) is expecting! This is a complete surprise as they weren't planning on having any more. The inital shock is wearing off and they are starting to embrace the idea. I hope this one is a boy, Logan wouldn't know what to do with two girlfriends!

Steve says he gives it six months and we'll be pregnant as well. We got pregnant about six months after Abby and Walt last time. These kiddos are so much fun. I can't wait to hold the next one to join the clan!

Mr. Onesie Head

Logan thinks it is hilarious to take his shirts half way off of his head...not sure why. Maybe he got his sense of humor from his dad! How can you not be completely in love with this blue eyed baby boy...
Exciting news...a good mommy friend of mine is expecting. Can you guess who? No guesses from mom and Steve because they know already. I'm so excited!

Happy Boy

We had such a good day today...nothing unusual happened...well except maybe that Logan slept in until 9:00!!! Steve and I both had the day off. Logan got up and ate at 4 and went back to sleep. I just figured he'd be up at 5:15 as usual. When we both woke up before he did I had to run to his crib to make sure he was still breathing. That was at 8:15a.m. What a treat!

We ran tons of errands...Dr. appt for daddy...nothing serious. Now we are kicking back watching a movie. We had to take a break for dinner and bath. What a nice day. I feel fully rested for the first time since I gave birth! If we could only have this schedule everyday. Of course then we wouldn't be so thankful for these kinds of days!

Please remember the Macs today as they celebrate Cora's 2nd birthday...but now she's in heaven and they are here without her...such a sad but inspiring story.

Much love to you and yours!

Six Months Have Flown By

My Favorite Pic of the Day

It seems like just the other day I was writing the post saying, "I can't believe it's been three months already..." Well I truly can't believe it's been six now! While I will be the first to admit that I'm praying for the day that Logan is old enough to sleep through the night, I will miss this baby stage. It's no secret that this is my favorite time!

But with age comes more fun things we can do. For instance, Logan can sit unsupported, roll over both ways, smile and giggle, eat baby foods in addition to his diet of breastmilk, breastmilk and more breastmilk, grasp toys and shake them to death. He also has two teeth and quite the little personality. Sometimes we find ourselves sitting in the living room and asking, "What did we do before we had Logan?" It is going to be so fun watching him grow into the little person he is meant to be!

Weekend With Daddy

As much as I hate to leave my boys...I was thankful that we had enough babies for me to get all my hours in this weekend. I did go in late on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. which was suprisingly nice. It's difficult to work three days in a row all 12 hour shifts.

Even though it's difficult, I never have to worry that things aren't maintained at home. My hubby does such a wonderful job. Even still, my boys are always happy to see me when my work is done.

I'm super excited about tomorrow. We are going to Wichita with Payton and Abby...always an adventure! Both the kids are getting pics done. Logan will get his 6 months pics and Payton her 1 year. I also have a hair appt and can't wait to say hi to a former patients' mommy who now cuts my hair. Hopefully we'll find time for lunch somewhere inbetween.
