Christmas Day 2013 {Our House}

I'm not really sure how Christopher escaped my camera this a.m....anyhow, the kids got up about 7(after little sis was up from 4:30-5:45) and headed down to open up gifts.  We went with the 3 gifts again this year: 1 from Santa, 1 from Mom and Dad & 1 from the siblings.  I was really disappointed that each one of the boys was short a present since the gifts I ordered online 2 weeks ago didn't arrive(I am guessing due to our crappy weather).  They were guaranteed by Christmas, big joke.  But the kids didn't seem to notice and were very happy with their stockings and 2 gifts. Mommy even snuck in some lovey pics on the couch(pay no attention to Daddy's stocking stuffers sitting next to Logan, LOL).

'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

...and all through the house

not a creature was stirring,

not even a mouse.

Santa came early 

so the stockings were full

by the fireplace they waited

for kids to explore.

The boys they were sleeping

and sissy was too.

Mom and dad were so tired

but their work never through.

The snow glistened outside

as lights twinkled here

in hopes that all people 

would celebrate with cheer.

Christmas Eve 2013 {Newman's}

We had such a fun/crazy time at Grandma and Grandpa's tonight.  The little cousins played, the big cousins laughed, we got to call AJ, we opened gifts, we ate great food and more importantly just loved on each other.  My kids were well behaved even though it was hot and late.  I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas Eve.

Staying Afloat

Do you ever feel like you are just barely holding your head above water in the day-to-day struggles of life?  Now that I am back to work that is definitely how I am feeling.  We get up at 5:20a.m., dress kids, take kids to daycare, drive to work, work all day, drive to daycare, pick up kids, drive back to Eldorado, make supper, give baths, do dishes and laundry...and when I am lucky, get some snuggles in.

Tonight was a snuggle night.  We said forget the laundry and dishes and just enjoyed our babes.  I am so thankful for all 3 of my precious ones.

Faces of Kate {3 Months}

My oh my, my little spunky girl...3 months has flown right by!  You are growing like a weed.  Overnight size 1 diapers have come to look like speedos on you.  Three month clothes are getting tight and you can wear the 6 month clothes just fine.  I don't know how much you weigh since you don't go to the doctor until your 4 month check and Mommy is definitely not taking you in during RSV season for an extra visit to get a weight!

You are still sleeping well, you wake usually twice in 9 hrs to feed.  Eating is no issue!  You ADORE your brothers and love it when they talk to and play with you.  You are reaching for and holding toys and grab them to bring them to your mouth and chew on them.  You are close to rolling over, but not yet!

I am in love with you dimply, chubby cheeks.  Mommy has too much fun dressing you up and putting bows on your head(you still have zero hair).  We are so thankful to have you complete our family.
