Kate {7 Months}

Well Miss Katelyn, since you are almost 8 months old I thought I better get your 7 month pics taken!  You are growing so fast.  You are wearing 9 month clothing(and some if it is tight), size 3 diapers when you are in disposables(Mommy is still doing cloth during the day), eating solids like crazy, breast or bottle feeding about 7 times a day, laughing all the time, rolling everywhere, up on your hands and knees but not quite crawling, got your first tooth today and full of joy!

Sunny Weather

So it was finally nice out today.  It was only about 83 degrees but to watch my kids outside, you would like it was 100!  We are so happy for some nice temps.

Daycare Friends At the Zoo

We switched daycare when I went back to work after having Katelyn.
The kids still go to a home daycare but it is run by 2 of our favorite teachers who where at Kindercare when Logan attended.

Miss Stephanie's boys Brayden and Austin are very dear to our hearts.
We decided a zoo trip was in need and I headed out with all 5 kids by myself.

We only had one mishap at the zoo.  Our troublesome Gavin decided to bolt away from the group and I had to chase after him, not cool.

Aside from that it was smooth sailing!  These 2 cuties are so well mannered and follow instructions well.  I couldn't brag on them enough to their precious mama.

Easter {2014}

As you can see we had a very bust, but very fun-filled Easter.  We started with getting up late(a real treat for the parents in this house), as the kids slept in til 7:30.  Then it was off to Papa's for breakfast.  The kids were spoiled at Papa's with news Easter baskets filled with chocolate and new movies!  Sissy got her first princess tiara.

We made it through church.  When we got back home Aunt Kate and Tyler had been busy getting things ready for lunch.  We celebrated with the Newman side of the family.  Nana, Aunt Kate & Tyler got the kids a zoo pass for Easter instead of tangible things. What a great idea!  We hunted eggs in the rain, the kids didn't seem to mind at all.

By the time everyone left we were exhausted.  We rounded the evening out with a frozen pizza and a movie.  We are so thankful for this Easter season and that Jesus died on the cross for our sins that we may live forever!

The Garden is In!

This afternoon we spent time in the backyard planting the garden.  I can't wait for fresh tomatoes and cucumbers!!!

SBAMH Egg Hunt {2014}

The small hospital I work for here in town does an egg hunt each year for the employees' kids.  There are always a TON of eggs(each kids had 20+), lots of prizes and great friends.  No one fights, love is in the air and the world is a happy place.  Seriously, it's a fun hunt.  But we could have fun picking weeds with our friends and eating peanuts for what that's worth.  Jesus's love and ultimate sacrifice really is the reason for the season.

We have a book called "What is Easter" that talks about the true meaning of the Easter season.  My oldest little smarty pants almost has the whole thing memorized.  There is nothing that warms my heart more than hearing my child say, "Did you know if you have Jesus in your heart you will live forever?" Amen Logi, amen!
