Our Week In Pictures

I am not sure why Logan was so camera shy this week...I promise he was around too!
We spent an entire day this week hiding under a blanket fort.
Yummy peaches are back in season!
Daddy spent some times explaining the hail storm.
Gavin was being adorable in the car.
Does anyone else's living room have a similar pile of shoes in it?  I think my kids were a different pair everyday!

Surgery Day

This morning Kate had her adenoids out.  I was very nervous as Logan did not tolerate this procedure well. I didn't get a pic of her in her little hospital gown as I was alone at the surgery center with her.

Waking up was a little rough but as soon as I could get her to drink, we flew out of there!  After a good nap, you would hardly know that the day was anything but normal for this resilient little one.  She has only had one dose of Motrin since the surgery!  I enjoyed a day home with just her and lots of snuggles.

Not What We Needed...

We are scheduled to close on the sale of our house in exactly one month.  Tonight we had a significant hail storm hit our neighborhood. Both of our vehicles as well as the house have substantial damage.  So, here we go...gotta see if we can get it all fixed before June 26th!  When it rains it pours.

Rare Family Outing

We NEVER get full days off with the whole family...but, it happened today!  Daddy took the day off and went to the zoo with us.  The kids were magnificent(that happens either).  It was a fresh breath of air for this Mommy.

The jungle has been closed for over a year.  Gavin and Kate don't even remember what it used to look like.  But, we had fun today exploring together, new, as a family.

I work full time.  My husband owns his own business and works 60 hours+  a week.  Most days I am exhausted...but today was not one of those days.  Today was a day to lift my face to the sky and give thanks that God thought it fit to give us a perfect day. Thank you Lord for that...it was truly needed.

Happy Mother's Day

This is what I woke up to this morning...who could ask for a better Mother's Day Present?
I just want to say Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there that already have their babies, to all those that had babies that are no longer with them and also to all the moms that are still waiting conceive or hold a baby their arms.

Here is the two love bugs this afternoon.  I know someday Gavin will want to protect this girl like Logan does.
We always miss AJ, but especially on occasions like this.  We decided to pull out his face today!
Uncle Tyler got in on some of the dress up today.
These little people are the reason I breathe everyday.

Gav finally slowed down for some lovey time.
Happy Mother's Day to my Mommy who has helped me become the person I am!

Yogurt Date

Right before bed tonight Gav requested a "Yogurt Date."  God makes these little people cute for a reason.  Who could say no to that?

Little Lovey

I missed this little princess yesterday.
Her "Bebe" is now her most favorite thing.
We swing the baby, diaper the baby, burp the baby and love the baby.
I think she will make a great Mommy someday.

Keegan's Birthday

Today we made the annual drive to Great Bend for Keegan's birthday party.  I can't believe this little guy is 6!  His mom always throws the best parties. This year was no exception.  A mud run?  Oh, yes...Aunt Kate went with us to help wrangle kids.  The boys weren't scared at all and ran full speed ahead.  Some of the kids lost their shoes on the first obstacle and I nearly peed my pants laughing.

The boys had fun climbing on all their big equipment prior to the start of the party.  I always hate when it is time to love on this family and say goodbye.  So, instead we say "Til next time!"

Goodnight From Our House to Yours

Sorry for the blurriness but the kids were being too cute tonight not to share!

March For Babies {2015}

I love all my kids.  But does anyone else just have that one kid that constantly keeps your on your toes?  Gavin Anthony Taylor, today you plain wore me out.

Epic Mommy failure...I thought, take all the kids on a big long walk and wear them out.  What happened was that we went on a big long walk and Gavin wore me out.  He was obsessed with the WSU mascot.  He kept running off amongst a sea of people.  I am really starting to consider a leash...no joke.

Thank goodness that the Glunt family and Aunt Shelley were there to save the day!  I am certain that she is the one that kept me from losing it by pulling Kate in the wagon and walking with Logan so I could constantly chase and keep up with Gavin.

Gavin,
You are a strong-willed, full of energy, crowd-entertaining little person.  I hope that some day these attributes will benefit you.  Today, I think God was helping me to have a little more patience by loving on you.  I hope we sleep good tonight.
Love,
Your Mommy
