Exciting News!

We are pregnant! We were scheduled to start IUIs again this month but when things were a bit abnormal in January I took the three above tests...yes three of them. I was sure the first one which was over a year old had to be mistaken. We tried for four years and never got pregnant and then only did with the help of fertility treatments. But, it's real!
Today was my first OB appt and then I had a sono to be sure about dates. By sono, 8 weeks 4 days with a due date of October 06, 2011. I am so excited! I missed being off Christmas with Logan by a few weeks but this will be PERFECT timing(if all goes well) with this one. You know me, always the planner. Of course I am just stoked to be expecting. We couldn't have planned it better if we had tried. Now we just need lots of prayers. There has been quite a bit of loss of pregnancies going on around me lately and I can't help but realistic that anyone of them could have been me.
Anyhow, now you are all in on the excitement!

Carl Hall Extreme Makeover Benefit Concert

Tonight I thought it might be fun(and a great cause) to head over to Mel Hamelton Ford in Wichita. Extreme Makeover Home Edition has been in Wichita this week building a house for the Carl Hall Family. Kissin 102.1 and Mel Hamelton thought it would be great to do a little fundraiser for the family. There was free food and motorcross bikers jumping across trucks to watch and our highlight for the evening....James Wesley! It was soooo cold out. Steve and I very much admired the two on stage for standing up there in the 30 degree temps to sing us a couple of songs. I think after this preview we definitely will have to go see him next time he comes to Wichita.

Logan was very tired and grumpy. I am sure it didn't help that it was windy and chilly! So no smiling pics of the boy tonight but Steve did at least get a shot of him even if he wouldn't look at the camera. Overall I think he was a pretty good sport. They raised over $60,000 dollars!

Lazy Day

Abby and the kids came over to play today and we did absolutely nothing! It was fantastic. I am really glad we didn't go anywhere because both toddlers were in quite the moods. I would not have had the patience to deal with mine in public today! All the babies laid down for naps at the same time and the Mommies even got a little bit of snooze time...doesn't happen often, better take advantage when it does!

Simple Sunday

Steve bought a motorcycle today and we spent the morning driving to Belle Plaine to pick it up. Then it was lunch with Papa, nap time then working on the bike with Daddy! I managed to squeeze in a trip to Walmart and baking an apple pie. I am LOVING this weather. We grilled for dinner and after I hauled Logan around in his wagon for awhile he was perfectly content in the yard while I cooked. Thank GOD for nice days like today. I'm not getting my hopes up yet though that winter is really over.

A Full Day

What a day! Logan got up at 5:30 this morning...his usual. We decided it was too beautiful outside not to enjoy the weather! So Abby, Ashley and I headed to the zoo. Logan had great fun pulling Jersey around in his wagon. These three kiddos are quite a show when you put them all together(if you couldn't tell by their picture!).
After the zoo, Logan only took a 20min nap. I knew this would not be good for the evening as I was taking him to a baby shower that didn't even start until 6P.M. He was awful but we made it through! We plan to do NOTHING tomorrow to make up for today!

A Week Flew By!

Wow! I can't believe it has been a week since I have posted! I have worked 7 out of the last 8 days. On top of that we have been super busy. Monday when I was off I did take Logan to the park and it was gorgeous. I have been sewing baby sower gifts for two showers I have coming up and tonight I made a cake for the shower that is tomorrow. We are having a morning playdate(hopefully at the zoo if it is nice) with Abby and the kids then in the evening is the shower. It is for one of the girls I work and should be fun. Most of my coworkers haven't seen Logan since he was tiny! Lots of pics to come soon...

Snow Day With Friends

Snow Angels

Snowy Angels

While it was snowy outside today, Gray and Payton came to play. We decorated cookies...ok I did while the kids destroyed theirs! Then we played inside until the mommies were going crazy. It was nice enough out late this afternoon with the sun that the kids went out and played in the snow for awhile. We should all sleep well tonight!

Super Bowl Sunday

Honestly we couldn't care less about the super bowl or any other foot ball game for that matter. We did take the opportunity to take Grandma Lori out to lunch on Sunday though. We went to Applebees and we were stuffed!

A Bloggy Playdate

This morning we had a playdate with a our dear bloggy friends Toller and Magnolia. We played with a train table, ate donuts(thanks Brian!), played ball, watched Tollers flying helicopter, danced to the MMC Hot Digety Dog song and most of all loved on baby Magnolia! It was so much fun to watch the Logan chase Toller all over the house and it gave the mommies a bit of time to catch up!

New Cousin

Pay no attention to the teenager on the couch with the BBQ sauce or the toddler without pants!
Introducing Mason Ryan Warden

Triple trouble!
On Sunday we went to Haven to visit everyone and meet the new cousin. Mason is such a sweetheart! I remember those days when they did nothing but eat, sleep and excrete! All joking aside he truly is a handsome little man. Of course my nieces always take the cake for entertainment. If you couldn't tell from the pictures they have quite the personalities...always good for a laugh and some hugs!
