Wedding Day

I don't have many pics from yesterday since I was in the ceremony but here are the ones I do have. The ceremony didn't go quite as planned.  Gavin had a meltdown at the last moment so instead of walking with the pillow and Kate walking with me, Logan pulled Kate and Brantley in the wagon, I walked with Justin and Ozzie and Gavin didn't walk at all.  It was cute at any measure and didn't cause any issues.

My sister was more beautiful than I had imagine and seemed to glow.
I can't wait to see the great pictures the photographer got!
Most importantly, they said "I do."
We can now officially welcome Tyler to the family.

Bestie Birthday Fun

Since Abby's birthday was this week I decided she needed to come see the new place and let me fix her dinner. Since neither of us is hardly ever without our kiddos, they babies got some fun play time in.

I love this girlie and her kids.  They make our lives more enriched and add so much humor to the joy of parenting.  They kids have literally know each other since they were born and I love that they have these life long friends.

Water Buddies

Well, we are all settled at the new house.  Tonight we decided to head to the backyard for some fun time with the littles...I missed these kiddos this weekend.  What could possibly more fun in June that wide open space and a water hose?

Moving Day

The day is finally here.  Today I will start moving our stuff to our rental.  I thought I would be more sad to be leaving this house.  However, I am so excited to see what is in our future that the excitement is winning over the sadness.

The kids will go to stay with Nana tomorrow after daycare so that Steve and Christopher can help me load the furniture and all the big stuff and get the new house settled.  What we will miss most about this house is a wonderful neighbor Jack.

For over two years now, Jack has come over every night(with rare exceptions) to get dinner.  He talks in the backyard with the kids, picks up things I need at the store, buys us pizza, bbq or Chinese at least once a week(lifesaver) and most importantly, comes over to kill my spiders when Steve isn't home.  The kids see him more than they see their own grandparents and our interaction with him will be truly missed.  Last night I had to hold back tears as he came to pick up dinner one last night.  Though we won't lose contact, he will be missed.

Ok day...I am ready.  Let's get this done!

Singing in the Rain

It has been raining for practically 2 weeks here and my kids are sick of it!  Tonight we decided it was time to get out of the house and just let them play.  They thought it was awesome.  You would think that they had been cooped up for years.

Years from now when my kids say that I never let them do anything fun or spontaneous, I am pulling out these pictures!

Backyard Goonies

These kiddos were ridiculously hilarious tonight out back playing.  One of our very favorite things about summer is popsicles.  Lordy, are they a mess though!  LOL.  The patio looked like a rainbow by the time they got done.  But that leads us to one of our other very favorite things...a good bath!

My Baby Sis is Gettin' Hitched!

With Kate's wedding fast approaching, last night we celebrated her at her bachelorette party.  We went to a Royals game and then out for a few drinks.  I love this girl and I can't wait to see her start the rest of her life with Tyler.  I had a great time with these gals.  I never like leaving my babies but getting to enjoy a few meals without someone else on my lap or in my plate was comforting.

Similarly, Steve went out with the boys Friday night to celebrate Tyler.  They went to a ball game and then out also.  What a great couple!
