Goodbye Baby Tooth

This little guy is growing so fast.  He lost another baby tooth today.  He went from wearing 4t to size 6 almost overnight.  I think we spent one month is 5t. I can hardly believe it!

Saturday At Home

My precious babes slept in until 8a.m. this morning...that is quite a feat around here since they are usually up at 5:30. Daddy worked most of the day so the kids and I were home.  There was plenty to keep us all busy.

My kids are so blessed to be loved by so many.  I t was very nice today just to have some quiet downtime and love on each other a little.  Kendra got us a gingerbread train kit but when we opened it the gingerbread pieces were broken beyond repair.  So what did that mean?  Yep, you guessed it.  We made our own gingerbread and then put together our train.  I t was an all afternoon project!

Kate loves her new little couch and as I had suspected it is her favorite little snuggle spot. :)

Christmas 2014 {Nena & Papa's}

What a fun and busy Christmas.  We ended the day with supper at Nena & Papa's.  My niece kidnapped the camera and was snapping pics of everyone!  Nena always goes way overboard on the gifts and this year was no exception.

I am now sitting on the couch looking at the Christmas disaster all over my house.  But I am utterly exhausted.   So it will just have to wait!

Christmas 2014 {Papa's-Part 2}

Kate and Tyler's plans changed and they ended up being at Papa's today for Christmas.  Kate was exhausted and enjoyed some snuggle time with Grandma Wilma on the couch.  The boys got to try out their new PlayDoh sets(thank goodness Lisa likes PlayDoh, it lives at her house!).

Now we are off to Nena and Papa's for dinner!  Whew, what a day.

Christmas 2014 {Our House}

Our Christmas morning was simple this year.  Each of the kids had three gifts:something they wanted, something they read and something they wear.  The boys received Nabi tablets and are cloud 9.  We are gonna have to figure out how to use these tablets in moderation!  Kate's big gift was a little fold out Frozen couch. I can see many hours will be spent lounging around on this cute little thing.

Christmas Eve 2014

Kate and Tyler decided to stay the night with us since they would just have to get up and drive back over in the a.m.  Their puppy Ozzie came too.  AJ came over to join in on the fun.  My kiddos love their Aunts and Uncles so much!

Christmas 2014 {Newman's}

The Christmas chaos continues!  We had fun tonight at Grandma Dixie's.  Mama bear almost got into it with one of my sassy cousins.  Some people really have some nerve.  Thought I was gonna have to haul him outside!

We were missing Brandi and Sofi or we would have actually had the entire family together!  Instead of drawing names for kids' gifts this year, we all brought contributions to add to grab bags for them.  I stole this idea shamelessly from my mother-in-law.  I think they all loved!  It was much nicer to my pocket book for sure.

We are really working on focusing on the reason for this season in this house this year.

Operation Christmas {2014}

What a full day...after Nana's Christmas celebration, we met Steph and Ness back at our house.  Our daycare as well as Kindercare in Augusta did a food/clothing/toy drive for my cousin and her family. Being a single mom is tough work but she rocks at it.  We love our cousins dearly.  She actually bought the house she grew up in as a child and we have so much fun making new memories there with our kiddos.

Ethanni and I were up well past midnight wrapping presents for Stella and Dane.  I am proud to say, her tree is loaded up and her pantry is more than stocked.  Great job daycare and Kindercare!!!

Christmas 2014 {Nana's}

This is our best change at a family picture this year!  After fun at Papa's we headed over to Nana's house.  AJ surprised us all by driving home from SC.  I had a suspicion that he was up to something!  Though he is not currently deployed, he has missed so much in the past 4 years.  All of you who have servicemen/servicewomen in your lives, thanks for sacrificing your family time to keep us all safe!

Kate was in particularly rare form this afternoon.  I think she was getting a little loopy without her nap.  We are off to home for naps then operation Christmas continues with the cousins tonight!

Christmas 2014 {Papa's-Part 1}

Christmas celebrations are in full swing!  We have a big day today.  We started off the morning at Papa's house.  There was no shortage in good food, good company and lots of entertainment provided by the kiddos!  I love that Logan enjoys Papa's antique train sets.  He would sit by the tree running the train for hours if we would let him.  We will actually be back at Papa's later in the week for Part 2 but Kate and Tyler couldn't come then so we decided to celebrate with them today!
