Thanksgiving 2015 {Taylor Side}

We had lots of fun with Nena, Papa, Aunt Leslie, Uncle Shannon and the cousins today.  There is no better indicator of a good time then all the kids falling asleep on the way home.  Although I hate the drive to Haven(Keepin' it real here, right), the drive home is usually easy.

Aunt Leslie is expecting another baby cousin. We are so excited to see if it will be a girl or a boy.  We will surely love and cherish this baby, regardless of gender. Kate might try to diaper it over and over given the chance, but there will be no shortage of love!

Brylie and Mayzie are such good big cousins.  They both fought over who got to "hold Kate" all afternoon.  I think they will be perfect big sisters, again!

Thanksgiving With Nana and Don

This woman, her heart, her spirit and her determination never ceases to amaze me. It has been a difficult season for us family-wise(I will spare you the details) but yet she is always here...never missing a day...never missing a beat. Someone that knows me and our stories better truly could not be found. Sweet sister, I hope the new year holds nothing but good and positive things for you and yours!

We ventured out to Nana and Don's today to feast on Thanksgiving leftovers and what a feast it was!
There was no shortage of turkey and good veggies.
And the company was superb as well.

Howell Thanksgiving

We had the Howell Family Thanksgiving in Wellington today.
Steve and I actually got to play a game of pinochle(first time in years)!
We had fun loving on the great-grandparents and all the extended family.
Gavin was being completely un-photogenic.

On the way home the kids expressed how deeply upset they were that we didn't have any Christmas decorations up yet.
But living in a rental kind of puts you in a pinch for hanging things up.
We have no mantle or fireplace this year.
And though the kids were utterly confused, I hung our stockings up on the entertainment center using command strips(no holes going in the wall of this house!).

Some seasons are dark and others so bright.
I couldn't help but to feel so completely blessed watching my kids enjoy the lights on the tree.

Cryderman boys are visiting...

...and this is what I hear:
Logan and Austin are listening to, dancing and "Everybody wanna steal my girl" and Logan's lyrics go like this:"Everybody wanna steal my g-i-r-l, everybody wanna take her all the way. Lmbo. I tried to correct him that it was "Everybody wanna steal her heart away." He is not buying it...

What A Great Day!

Daddy is working out of town so we decided to check out Nana's new chicken flock.
Spike the rooster was quite a hit.
The kids were super lovey and hamming it up when we got home.
Some days and weeks without Daddy are so long and difficult.
But today was a fun day for the books!
I am so proud of these three when we have good days like this.
It reminds me that I am doing something right, at least some of the time!

A Moment

You know you are parents of small children when while folding laundry as a group your husband bursts into this song..."Everything is awesome, everything is cool when you're part of a team!" Lol. Especially when said husband doesn't otherwise EVER sing. Pretty sexy if I say so myself.

So True

Daddy worked this weekend and I decided that we finally needed to get out of the house. It was warm enough for an afternoon park trip.  I love how each of these kiddos has such different personalities and they all warm my heart.  Thank you Lord for gifting each one, to me.
